You know when we should worry about the age of the person we are with? When they are under 18 years of age. After 18 they develope the title of "adult" and should be treated as such. Life is hard enough to get through. Why would it be bad or good to date someone who is not close to a person's own age? How many people find it hard to find love? Not that crappy, "baby I luv u" mess that everyone says in order to get some. That shiver up your spine, the sun will never go away, I can't get enough of looking at him/her, will kiss in the morning before brushing teeth kind of love. The if they became disabled I would still stay with them kind of love. The if we were in the middle of an ocean and I had to choose between saving myself or him/her, I would choose to let them live kind of love. If you find this kind of love, and the person you find it with is an adult, go for it and be happy, because that kind of love nowadays, is rare!

@Jamie, the "rule" you speak of was created by younger women. For the most part it's not maturity they seek from an older man. Its his wallet they care for. They could care less what books the man reads or about his fancy suits. Its all about can he provide for me and if so, they take a I guess I can always learn to love the fool, attitude. There is nothing wrong with an older woman dating a younger man. It is just so stupid how people think there's a "rule" that the man has to be older. And don't give me this "maturity" argument...... a fully grown adult can be just as mature as anyone.

I have and will continue to date older women. The biggest difference with lets say a young 20 year old and a lady over 35 is maturity. Guys, we are not complicated we get with a woman because we see ourselves becoming intimate with her. Young girls, in my experience, care about the car a man drives and if he can afford to take her out. I don't think it's a trend, I think man are really wising up.
